What is OCP?

The Open Compute Project (OCP) is a collaborative community launched by Facebook in 2011, focused on open-source designs for data center hardware—servers, storage, racks, cooling, and networking. OCP’s mission is to make scalable computing more efficient, flexible, and sustainable.

Why Join OCP?

  • Open Collaboration – Work with engineers and companies on open-source hardware standards.

  • Innovation Access – Contribute to and adopt cutting-edge designs.

  • Community Events – Participate in the OCP Global Summit and regional workshops.

  • Sustainability – Be part of a movement focused on efficiency and reducing carbon footprint.

How to Join

  1. Go to www.opencompute.org

  2. Choose membership (individual, corporate, or community participant).

  3. Get involved in OCP working groups and projects.
